I would say that Kozy Corner is the definition of a small town bar/grille. The employees aren't all that friendly, unless you're a regular. The food is standard grille fare: burgers, fries, steak and cheese etc. Nothing terribly special about the food, but it works. We eat there probably once every couple months or so. I have never had the pizza so no comment on that, but I see quite a few people coming in to pick up pizza so it must not be that bad.

Beyond rude!! That's how I would describe the operators of this eating and drinking establishment. Don't get me wrong. The subs are about as good as you can get, in Mt. Airy or anywhere else. But the owners/proprietors are about as friendly as turds. We've always tolerated their unfriendly attitude because the subs are fantastic (but smallish). The rest of their menu, by the way, varies between lousy and mediocre, but the subs really are excellent. But this past experience was the last straw. The woman is unfriendly, but the man is just a jerk. There's no other way to say it. Subs or no subs, if you treat your customers this poorly, you don't deserve customers. I can't in good conscience give a 1-star rating because the subs are so good, but I think it's time for the proprietors to consider career alternatives, because they're clearly in the wrong line of work.

Inexpensive bar/grille fare. Great prices on bottled beer (can't beat New Castle at $3). Mt. Airy's best kept secret! (thanks phyllis) Been around since 1972, so they have found their niche. Those reviewers that are looking to be treated like a celebrity and whine about Kozy's service, don't understand Kozy's "schtick" and are better served elsewhere in YuppieVille at a place where you need to feel good about yourself as you are getting "played" (fake niceness for a a good tip) and 400% markup! (Billy Joel: "And a waitress is practicing politics as a businessman slowly gets stoned; yeah they're sharing a drink called loneliness but its better than drinking alone.") At Kozy, we like to say "the Condiments are free but the Compliments will cost ya!" :-)

The are a bit rude. Would not buy the pizza again. Sample platter is all freezer to fryer food. Nothing special . Steak and cheese was good. Not a very friendly.

The guy that runs the place is an absolute tool. A rude little man. Also, the TVs are all standard def. Food is so-so.
